01 Brief History of Company

Oswal Group is a prominent Textile Conglomerate of North India that emerged out of its parent-Vardhman Group in the year 2003 after a family settlement. Vardhman Polytex Limited (VPL) is the flagship company of the Group with multiple production facilities located at Bathinda, Ludhiana, Nalagarh.

With spinning remaining as the area of core competence, Oswal Group has grown manifold, adding Dyeing, Weaving and Garmenting facilities to its portfolio.

Weaving was established in 2006 with a state-of-the-art facility in Maharashtra, in Joint Venture with F.M. Hammerle of Austria, a company engaged in premium yarn dyed shirting since 1836. Subsequently, FM Hammerle was acquired and merged with this facility located at Kohlapur.

The group has recently diversified into Real Estate. The debut project, VARDHMAN PARK marks “Disruptive Innovation” by converting unutilized asset in terms of prime land into a Business opportunity offering affordable residential & commercial space at Ludhiana.

Turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones to take the ancestral legacy forward and create newer benchmarks and horizons are synonymous with the inspirational leadership style of Mr Oswal.
